WILLIAMSPORT — Victoria “Vickie” Marie (Hanthorn) Horath, 47, 305 Oak St., Williamsport, died at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2002 in Home Hospital, Lafayette. She was born May 18, 1954 in Williamsport, the daughter of Harold V. and Lola J. McFadden Hanthorn. She married Charles E. “Bud” Horath June 22, 1974 in Williamsport. He survives. She was raised in Attica and graduated from Attica High School in 1973. She attended Ivy Tech School in Lafayette and Danville Area Junior College. She had lived in Williamsport since 1975. She formerly worked at Central Laboratories in Lafayette from 1975-1989, Schumacher in Hoopeston, Ill. from 1989-1995 and worked at Consolidated Industries in Lafayette from 1995-2000. She enjoyed doing wood refinishing and upholstering. She had a large display of spun glass collections. She collected porcelain dolls, coins and tea set. She enjoyed flowers and had a large flower garden around her home. Survivors, besides the husband, include: a daughter, Tracy (Travis) Reed, Williamsport; a son, Dwayne A. (Brandi J.) Horath, Williamsport; a sister, Aleta (Landis) Waters, Attica; two brothers, Joseph Tom (Luana) Hanthorn, Attica and Mark Hanthorn, Sanford, Fla.; and seven grandchildren, Jordan, Cody and Kimberly Horath; Kirra, Skylar and Tylar Reed; and Gabbi Pithoud. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Michael and Jeff Hanthorn; and a granddaughter, Hannah Marie Horath. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. J. David Adams officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. – jlr
